Job summary

Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Georgia is hiring a Commercial Tire Service Technician to perform tire servicing for commercial customers in our truck care center and on the road. On‑the‑job training is provided, no previous experience required, with a focus on safety and quality service.

You will dismount/mount tires, perform preventive maintenance, respond to on‑call roadside calls, and maintain equipment and vehicle readiness while upholding Goodyear's service standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Strong communication skills helpful for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial tires, including mounting/dismounting.
• Train to perform match mounting and radial runout checks.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Respond to on‑call roadside service calls.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Remove tires for retreading or repair as needed.
• Submit accurate service tickets to management.
• Diagnose issues during on-site visits and perform repairs or replacements.
• Maintain service equipment and the assigned vehicle.
