Qualifications

• Five years work-related experience related to tire repair.
• Knowledge of tires, tubes and rims, tire repair and changing equipment.
• Knowledge of repair procedures for city-owned equipment.

Responsibilities

• Changes tires and repairs tires for large construction equipment, trucks and cars.
• Operates tire changing equipment, repair equipment and wheel balance machine.
• Repairs all types of tires including bud wheels and split rims.
• Follow road service orders and safety regulations while performing tasks.
• May attend training and assist others in the tire garage.
