Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians to control weeds, grass, and brush along roadsides and right-of-way while safely operating herbicide application equipment. Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class B CDL required.
• Valid driverrs license with a minimum of 5 years of clean driving history.
• Ability to travel up to 2 weeks at a time.
• DOT drug screen, DOT physical, background check, previous employment verification, and motor vehicle record review.

Responsibilities

• Apply herbicides to roadsides, rights-of-way, guardrails, utility poles, curbs, concrete, and other areas to control weeds, grass, brush, and invasive vegetation.
• Operate and maintain spray trucks, ATVs, backpack sprayers, hose application systems, and other vegetation management equipment.
• Perform daily inspections, calibration, and minor maintenance on vehicles and spray equipment.
• Maintain required documentation, including application records, labels, and SDS.
• Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Drive an attenuator truck and perform other duties as assigned.
