Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is a family owned contractor serving DOTs and commercial clients nationwide. We seek motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians to control weeds along roadsides and rights-of-way, safely operating herbicide equipment.

Responsibilities include applying herbicides, operating spray trucks, performing inspections, and keeping records. A Class B CDL and clean driving record are required, with potential travel up to 2–3 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass DOT drug screen and DOT physical.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and ability to travel up to 2–3 weeks at a time.
• Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Core & Rights-of-Way Vegetation) preferred or obtainable within six months.
• Must comply with all safety policies, PPE requirements and company drug/alcohol policy.

Responsibilities

• Apply herbicides to roadsides and rights-of-way, controlling weeds, grass and brush.
• Operate and maintain spray trucks and vegetation management equipment.
• Perform daily inspections, calibration, and basic maintenance.
• Maintain records, labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and follow safety/environmental rules.
