Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services is seeking motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians to control weeds along roadsides and right-of-way while safely operating herbicide application equipment.

DCS requires candidates to be at least 21, hold a Class B CDL with a clean driving history, and be able to travel up to 2–3 weeks at a time. DOT drug screen, DOT physical, and background checks are part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Class B CDL required.
• Valid driver's license with a minimum of 5 years of clean driving history.
• Ability to travel for up to 2–3 weeks at a time.
• DOT drug screen, DOT physical, background check, and motor vehicle record review required.
• Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Core & Rights-of-Way Vegetation Management) preferred or able to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Operate herbicide application equipment and follow safe application methods.
• Apply herbicides to roadsides, rights-of-way, and designated areas.
• Operate and maintain spray trucks, ATVs, backpack sprayers, and related equipment.
• Keep documentation, labels, and SDS up to date.
• Adhere to safety policies, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
