Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) seeks motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians to control weeds along roadsides and rights-of-way while safely operating herbicide application equipment. Responsibilities include operating spray trucks and related gear, maintaining equipment, and keeping accurate records while adhering to safety policies and regulatory requirements.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, a Class B CDL, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Must maintain safety policies, PPE requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving history required.
• Willingness to travel up to 2–3 weeks at a time.
• Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Core & Rights-of-Way) preferred; can obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Apply herbicides to sidewalks, roadsides and rights-of-way.
• Operate spray trucks, ATVs, backpack sprayers and related equipment.
• Perform vehicle and equipment inspections, calibrations and maintenance.
• Maintain documentation including application records and SDS.
• Follow safety policies and environmental regulations.
