Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• 1 - 3 years of related experience or equivalent education.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of district preserves.
• Operate machinery (tractors, backhoes, mowers).
• Assist with snow removal and natural resource management.

Skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Basic maintenance and repairs on equipment

Familiarity with native and invasive plant life

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Illinois Class A Commercial Driver's License
