Brimbank City Council invites applications for four Full Time Permanent positions based at their Operations Centre in Keilor Park. The roles focus on maintaining roads and drainage, with a 36-hour week and a Fortnightly Rostered Day Off.

Ideal applicants will have road/drainage maintenance experience, OH&S knowledge, and a valid Medium Rigid Truck licence. A customer‑service mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate plant and carry out maintenance, construction and repair of roads/drainage assets.
• Knowledge of OH&S procedures; Quality procedures; VicRoads Codes of Practice for traffic control signage/directions.
• Knowledge of safe plant use; work practices and workplace safety.
• Experience in road and drainage maintenance and minor construction practices.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Competent with mobile computing devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and equipment for maintenance, construction and repair of roads and drainage.
• Follow OH&S and quality procedures; comply with VicRoads traffic control signage/directions.
• Maintain safe work practices and proper plant usage on site.
