Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector to assist senior inspectors with construction oversight and inspections in a Georgia project environment.

You will review plans, monitor activities for quality and compliance, and help document findings with a focus on safety. Qualifications include a civil engineering degree or equivalent and multiple years of roadway/bridge inspection experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology; two years of roadway/bridge inspection experience.
• Associate degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology; five years of roadway/bridge inspection experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; seven years of roadway/bridge inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Inspectors in construction oversight and inspection duties.
• Review and interpret construction plans, specs, and shop drawings.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with quality standards and specs.
• Conduct field audits of ICQA processes.
• Inspect roadways, structures, and drainage systems per project requirements.
• Observe and support materials sampling and testing verification.
• Attend pre-activity meetings with contractors and quality teams.
• Document inspection findings and prepare electronic reports.
• Uphold and promote safety practices in all construction activities.
