Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Able to obtain all INDOT Certified Technician Courses in first year.
2–8 years experience in construction management/inspection of roadways, bridges, or grading.
INDOT SiteManager and MS Office proficiency.
Valid driver’s license with travel ability within the region.

Responsibilities

Monitor contractor work to ensure quality control and contract compliance for road, structure, and bridge construction.
Monitor contractor operations for contract terms and specifications.
Provide general inspection on construction labor and subcontracted tasks.
Provide reports on activities, labor, equipment, and materials.
Perform on-site material testing and verification.
Calibrate and maintain testing equipment.
Create and compile final construction records documents for submission.
