Job summary

CPKC, a North American transnational railroad, is seeking a Roadmaster to lead a unionized team across a large territory from Shreveport, LA to Potter, AR. The role oversees track operations, maintenance, safety compliance, and regulatory adherence, with headquarters in Texarkana.

You will drive major capital projects and ensure service reliability while managing emergency plans and safety programs. The position requires at least five years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of MWED

Qualifications

• Experience leading unionized teams and coordinating track renewal projects.
• Strong knowledge of FRA regulations and track safety standards.
• Ability to develop emergency response plans and contingency measures.
• Experience interpreting MWED collective bargaining agreements in daily ops.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement emergency and contingency plans to minimize service interruptions.
• Mentor and guide craft employees to improve skills and performance.
• Lead unionized staff per the collective agreement; resolve actions and grievances.
• Oversee capital planning objectives and optimize resource use.
• Maintain Track Asset Management System records and inspections.
