Pizzo Native Plant Nursery in Illinois seeks a Native Plant & Plug Outside Sales Representative to expand our customer base among landscape architects, contractors, designers, restoration firms, brokers, growers, and nurseries who specify and buy native plugs.

This road warrior role demands real relationships, accountability, and a proven track record of closing business. Expect extensive Midwest travel and a compensation range around $80k–$90k, with potential for more BOE based on results.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience in green industries (landscape architecture, contracting, nursery wholesale).
• Verifiable industry contacts and strong employment references.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Midwest as a road warrior.
• Self-starter with ownership of results and integrity in selling.

Responsabilités

• Grow a book of business with landscape architects, contractors, designers, brokers, and nurseries.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and clear communication.
• Develop and close deals through existing and new customer relationships.
• Represent a product and a company focused on ecological results, avoiding greenwashing.
