Job summary

Transdev North America in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Road Supervisor to ensure routes are completed safely and on time. You will supervise drivers, schedule daily routes, and support safety investigations.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL, and 2–3 years of transit supervision experience. Expect shifts, DOT requirements, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License.
• Supervisory experience with hourly employees; 2–3 years transit supervisory experience preferred.
• Computer literacy – basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Responsibilities

• Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.
• Day‑to‑day scheduling, counseling, and submission of evaluation reports to local management.
• Conduct on‑scene accident investigations; assist drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports, and safety violations documents.
• Develop and host driver training and safety courses; train new drivers and retrain drivers involved in accidents.
• Observe drivers on the road, correct safety problems on the scene while documenting violations.
• Liaise between drivers and customers regarding customer service concerns.
• Evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance in compliance with legal, employment, and labor policy matters.
• Assist Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance – drug testing and record‑keeping.
• Drive routes periodically.
• Other duties as required.

Transdev in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Road Supervisor. Road Supervisors ensure all routes are completed in compliance with safety procedures. We are seeking customer service oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive compensation package: minimum $23.50 per hour ($45,120 annually) – maximum $26.50 per hour ($50,880 annually).
• Vacation: a minimum of two weeks.
• Holidays: 8 holidays and 1 floating holiday.

Physical Requirements

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside, alone and in remote locations.
• Walk for long distances on possible sloped ground or uneven surfaces.
• Lift or move objects up to 50 pounds; occasionally may involve bending, kneeling or crouching.
• Work may involve exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
• Work may involve long periods of sitting, typing or looking at a computer screen.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
