Road Supervisor
Transdev in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Road Supervisor. Road Supervisors ensure all routes are completed in compliance with safety procedures. We are seeking customer service oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive compensation package: minimum $23.50 per hour ($45,120 annually) – maximum $26.50 per hour ($50,880 annually).
- Vacation: a minimum of two weeks.
- Holidays: 8 holidays and 1 floating holiday.

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.
- Day‑to‑day scheduling, counseling, and submission of evaluation reports to local management.
- Conduct on‑scene accident investigations; assist drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports, and safety violations documents.
- Develop and host driver training and safety courses; train new drivers and retrain drivers involved in accidents.
- Observe drivers on the road, correct safety problems on the scene while documenting violations.
- Liaise between drivers and customers regarding customer service concerns.
- Evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance in compliance with legal, employment, and labor policy matters.
- Assist Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance – drug testing and record‑keeping.
- Drive routes periodically.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License.
- Supervisory experience with hourly employees; 2–3 years transit supervisory experience preferred.
- Computer literacy – basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside, alone and in remote locations.
- Walk for long distances on possible sloped ground or uneven surfaces.
- Lift or move objects up to 50 pounds; occasionally may involve bending, kneeling or crouching.
- Work may involve exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
- Work may involve long periods of sitting, typing or looking at a computer screen.
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
