Best Line Equipment in Muncy, PA is seeking an experienced Road Service Technician to join our field service team. This independent role travels to customer sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain construction and industrial equipment, rather than staying in a shop.

You will work with a supportive service group, use diagnostic tools, and receive a company vehicle, fuel, and training. The position offers around 40–50 hours weekly with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a comparable mechanical/technical field.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field service calls effectively.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• High School diploma/equivalent or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain all types of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment.
• Travel to job sites and customer locations to perform duties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel-related problems.
• Use diagnostic equipment, schematics, service manuals, and technical resources to identify equipment issues and determine the appropriate repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and equipment adjustments.
• Communicate professionally with customer regarding equipment condition, repairs, and recommended service.
• Complete service documentation, work orders, warranty claims, and related paperwork accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with the service department and other Best Line team members.
• Stay current on new equipment, technology, diagnostic procedures, and manufacturer requirements.

Are you the technician customers call when a machine is down and they need someone who can figure out why-not just replace parts?

Best Line Equipment is looking for an experienced Road Service Technician to join our Muncy, PA service team. This is an independent, field-based position for a technician who enjoys diagnosing problems, solving challenging equipment issues, and working directly at customer jobs sites rather than spending every day in a shop.

You'll work on a wide variety of construction and industrial equipment while having the support of an experienced service team, parts department, technical resources, and manufacturer training behind you.

Our road technicians typically service customers within an average 100-mile radius of our Muncy location and are equipped with the tools and resources needed to succeed in the field, including a company service vehicle, company-paid fuel, laptop, cell phone, and other field-service equipment.

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a technician who can diagnose and solve problems independently and is comfortable working in the field.

Required:
