JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a road mechanic to join our growing team! The right candidate will have mechanical experience on cars, trucks, or forklifts. Forklift knowledge is a definite plus! After a training period, the applicant will be provided with a service van to visit customer locations to fix forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. We also provide a gas card, cell phone, and tablet for work-related travel and communication. The technician will not necessarily need to report to the main office daily, as they can go directly from home to the first customer job and onwards. Experience with technology is a plus, as all hours and tasks are logged through a tablet. We are a family-owned business with 35 years of operation, offering excellent pay and benefits. Responsibilities

• Mobile field repairs
• Efficient equipment maintenance according to industry and company standards
• Complete required documentation, including work orders
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
• Observe and comply with all company policies and safety standards
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support the service & repair department
• Ensure safety for employees, customers, the public, and the environment

Qualifications

• At least one year of mechanical experience

• Own tools (employer offers a tool allowance for some new tools)
• Valid driver’s license
