Job summary
The City of Farmington Hills is seeking a Maintenance Worker to support construction, road repair, landscaping, and snow/ice control. You will work under road maintenance supervisors and senior operators in all weather conditions.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an Associates degree, and a Class A CDL with air brake and tank endorsements within 120 days of hire. A valid Michigan driver's license is also needed.
Qualifications

- Experience with landscaping, construction, snow plowing, and operating trucks/equipment is valued.
- Must obtain Class A CDL with air brake and tank endorsements within 120 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform construction, road repair, landscaping, litter control, and storm drain repairs.
- Maintain forestry, traffic signs, and snow/ice control.
- Operate various power tools under supervision.
- Work under road maintenance supervisors and senior operators in all weather conditions.
