Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is looking for a Road Mechanic to service a diverse fleet and travel to customer sites, often in remote locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment to minimize downtime, working on aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and related gear.

You will need a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience and a valid driver's license. CDL may be required in certain locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Service a variety of makes and models at customer sites, including remote locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair equipment.
