Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to service a variety of equipment in challenging remote locations, performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to minimize downtime. You will work with a safety-focused team across aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and other equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel. CDL may be required in some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on various makes and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair diesel and heavy construction equipment.
• Work safely in remote locations and in a team environment.
