Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to service a diverse fleet across our North America locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair diesel equipment while minimizing downtime in remote or challenging sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years' mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, and a valid driver’s license. CDL may be required in some locations; safety and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years’ mechanic experience with diesel or heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on diesel equipment.
• Work on a variety of makes and models in remote locations.
• Collaborate with a team in a safety-focused environment.
