Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to service a varied fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and power generators. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in safe, efficient ways to minimize downtime while traveling to remote locations as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of diesel or heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade training/desirable.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work on a variety of makes and models in diverse locations.
• Travel to remote locations as required while maintaining safety standards.
