Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to service a diverse fleet in challenging remote locations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to minimize downtime and support a growing operations team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a safety-focused environment. Bilingual abilities may be required by location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work safely and efficiently on a variety of makes, models and systems.
