Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Road Mechanic to service a diverse fleet across remote sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on diesel and heavy equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operation and minimal downtime.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of mechanic experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license (CDL may be required in some locations). A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment or specialty lines strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work on a variety of makes and models in challenging remote locations.
• Adhere to safety-focused practices to minimize downtime and injuries.
