Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to join our nationwide equipment service team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair diesel and hydraulic systems on a variety of equipment in diverse job sites.

You’ll work with a safety-focused crew, adapt to changing priorities in remote locations, and develop your career toward service or operations management. Valid CDL may be required in some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade training desired.
• 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment mechanic experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on equipment.
• Repair diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Work in a safety-focused environment across various locations.
