Arapahoe County Government is seeking a Road Maintenance Technician to perform semi-skilled and skilled highway and street maintenance duties at 7600 S. Peoria St., Englewood, CO 80112. The role involves operating a variety of equipment, snow plowing, traffic flagging, and teamwork in a high-performance environment.

Requirements include high school graduation and 1+ year experience in road/construction work. CDL class B preferred; on-call winter shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with highway/road maintenance and equipment.
• CDL training or license preferred; ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Operate maintenance equipment and perform highway/road duties.
• Assist with snow plowing and winter storm duties as needed.
• Attend pre- and post-operation inspections and ensure safety.
• Assist with traffic control and flagging in construction zones.
