Job summary

Lexington Maintenance in the United States, South Carolina, seeks a skilled truck operator to drive a 5-yard dump truck, hauling pipe, debris, signs, and equipment to and from job sites. You will load materials, secure loads, and conduct basic maintenance while keeping records.

You will work with a crew to patch potholes, ensure proper drainage, and assist with snow plow and emergency response operations. A valid license is required, with Class A CDL to be obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 5-yard dump truck hauling pipe, debris, signs, and equipment to job sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Load/unload materials and secure loads; ensure tarps and loose material are managed.
• Set up traffic control signs and flags per SCMUTCD; flag traffic in high/low volume areas.
• Patch potholes with crew; assist in drainage and shoulder/ditch work.
• Assist with snow plow and sanding techniques; respond to emergencies and weather events.
