Job summary

APAC-AL, Inc., a CRH Company, is seeking workers for general labor on road construction projects in Alabama. You will be part of a heavy highway crew or production crew performing tasks such as shoveling, raking, traffic control, and material handling.

Requirements include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and pass a physical exam. Prior construction experience is preferred and attendance reliability is essential. EOE/Vet/Disability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and pass a required physical examination.
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses; basic math and measurement skills.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Maintain reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general laboring duties on a road construction project on a heavy highway crew or production crew.
• Shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting forms, strips and cleaning concrete forms.
• Pour concrete; operate equipment; maintain good housekeeping and safety regulations.
