CRH seeks a general laborer for a road construction project in Alabama. You will perform a wide range of duties on heavy highway crews, including shoveling, raking, traffic control, and material handling. Prior construction experience is preferred and safety and attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and pass required physical exam.
• Basic knowledge of tools and their uses; basic math/measurement skills.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Maintain reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general labor on road construction projects on heavy highway crews or production crews.
• Shovel, rake, traffic control, move materials, set forms, strip and clean concrete forms, pours concrete; operate or assist with equipment as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety regulations.
