Job summary

APAC-AL, Inc., a CRH Company, seeks general laborers for road construction on a heavy highway crew or production team in Alabama. You will perform a wide range of duties including shoveling, material movement, and concrete work, contributing to safe and efficient project progress.

Prior heavy highway construction experience is preferred; lifting up to 30 pounds, basic tools and math are required. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and pass required physical examination.
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses; basic mathematical and measurement skills.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Maintain reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general labor on road construction projects on a heavy highway crew or production crew.
• Shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting forms, strips and cleaning concrete forms, pours concrete, shovels, vibrates and maintains good housekeeping and safety.
• Experience working around asphalt and equipment operating skills would be beneficial.
