Job summary

Experience in heavy highway construction is preferred. The role requires physical endurance, reliability, and the ability to work with tools and equipment around asphalt operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and pass a required physical examination.
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses, plus basic math/measurement skills.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Maintain reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general labor tasks on a road construction project on a heavy highway crew or production crew.
• Shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting forms, strips and cleaning concrete forms, pours concrete, shovels, vibrates and maintains safety and housekeeping.
