Job summary

APAC Alabama, Inc., part of CRH’s South Central Division, is a leading supplier of quality asphalt and Construction Services in the southeastern U.S., with operations in Alabama. This skilled role involves repairing and maintaining road construction equipment and mechanical systems across diverse machinery, from trucks to paving machines.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (GED preferred), basic math skills, and the ability to read simple instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose defects.
• Dismantle devices to access faulty parts using hoists and hand tools.
• Inspect parts for wear and dimensional changes; replace as needed.
