Qualifications

• 2 years related experience as an equipment operator.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions within time constraints.
• Thorough knowledge of and ability to operate required heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of road and drainage channel design construction and maintenance.
• Valid Texas Commercial Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operate all light and heavy construction equipment for road construction.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Assist with construction projects including concrete and asphalt.
• Excavate ditches and set culverts to proper elevations.
• May supervise the work of a work crew.
