Responsibilities

Reviews plans submitted by contractors to ensure compliance with County specifications and requirements.
Monitors ongoing construction projects to ensure work progress and compliance with operational mandates.
Explains County construction ordinances and requirements by correspondence, phone, and personal contact.
Prepares and maintains work progress reports, daily and weekly schedules, and other operational records.
Coordinates and inspects Public Works Road Projects that impact the County’s Project Section progress.
Works with construction conflicts with County Project Section and various utility companies and contractors.
Responds to inquiries by utility companies and contractors regarding jobs in progress.
Performs other duties as assigned.
