Job summary

Stark Tech is seeking a Senior Project & Commissioning Engineer to manage RNG plant start-up from SAT through full commissioning and operational acceptance. The role is customer- and internal-facing, coordinating all parties to meet start-up and operation requirements in a timely, cost-efficient manner.

The position also involves leading engineers and technicians, supporting skid and Balance of Plant controls, and traveling nationwide up to 50%+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of RNG plant experience in landfill/biogas or related equipment.
• Experience with RNG equipment design, manufacturing, testing, startup, and full plant operation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and in-field issue resolution.
• Excellent customer service and communication; able to balance stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; collaborative with project managers and trades.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD experience a plus.
• Project management skills; PMP a plus.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel nationwide up to 50%+.

Responsibilities

• Lead RNG plant start-up from SAT through commissioning and operational acceptance.
• Coordinate activities of all parties to meet start-up and operational requirements.
• Provide leadership and coaching to Engineers and Technicians.
• Support individual skid and Balance of Plant controls.
