Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a RNG Financial Analyst III (SGL17) to support Finance activities for Peaks Renewables HoldCo, LLC in a hybrid Denver, CO office.

The role focuses on financial analytics for development, M&A, and FP&A, including tax equity structures and project financing. Responsibilities include building sophisticated financial models, due diligence support, and coordinating with lenders and internal teams to optimize returns, while tracking policy changes affecting energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting required.
• Three years of finance or business analysis experience with advanced integrated financial models.
• MBA with Finance specialization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and valuation modeling for new investments.
• Screen and evaluate feasibility of new M&A and project opportunities.
• Develop and refine commercial proposals and support offtake origination.
• Assist with due diligence for acquisitions and coordination of internal approvals.
• Support relationships with lenders, investors, and other capital providers.
• Model tax credit monetization impacts on project IRR and after-tax cash flows.
• Track regulatory developments affecting incentives and market conditions.
