Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a RNG Financial Analyst III to support Business Development, M&A, and FP&A for Peaks Renewables HoldCo, LLC in a hybrid Denver office. You will help build financial models, analyze project economics, and support capital-raising activities.

The role requires a Finance degree with 3+ years of modeling experience; energy/utility background is a plus. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities and drive value across RNG project types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
• Three years of finance or business analysis experience including the development of advanced integrated financial models.
• Energy/Utility industry experience is a plus.
• MBA with a Finance specialization is a plus.
• Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Consulting experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct financial analysis and valuation modeling for new investments.
• Screen and evaluate the feasibility of new M&A and project opportunities.
• Develop and refine commercial proposals and support offtake origination, working with internal teams to structure deals.
• Assist with due diligence processes for acquisitions and coordinate internal approvals.
• Support relationships with lenders, investors and other capital providers to optimize project returns.
• Track legislative and regulatory developments affecting incentives and market conditions.
• Assist with the 5-year growth plan with the business development team and FP&A.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis or reporting tasks for FP&A.
