Qualifications
Minimum two years of experience as both scrub and circulating nurse.
Completion of an RNFA course approved by the Chief of Surgery and Director of Surgical Services.
Current BLS and ACLS Certifications are required.
Responsibilities
Assist the surgeon during operative procedures.
Perform first assisting under the direct supervision of the primary surgeon.
Provide direct patient care as part of the perioperative role.
