Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Completion of an approved didactic RNFA course.
• Three years scrub and circulate experience in an acute care facility.
• Annual surgeon review required.

Responsibilities

• Assure patients' personal needs are met.
• Maintain quiet nursing unit environment and standards of conduct.
• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure patient needs are met.
• Protect patient and staff privacy and maintain confidentiality.
• Document clearly and legibly; deliver concise reports.
• Complete quality monitors as directed by management.
• Follow infection control guidelines and protocols.
• Identify abnormal data and report promptly to the appropriate person.
