Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant to join its perioperative team. The role covers RNFA duties during operative and invasive procedures and may include circulator responsibilities to ensure patient-centered care throughout the perioperative continuum.

Requirements include graduation from a nursing program, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, and current Georgia licensure with CNOR/CRNFA/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program ( Required ).
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program with didactic and clinical components ( Required ).
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience ( Required ).
• 3 years minimum experience as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR ( Required ).
• GA RN licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure ( Required ).
• CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, PALS ( Required ).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality perioperative care as an RN first assistant and as an RN circulator.
• Function as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and throughout perioperative continuum.
