Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, part of Piedmont Healthcare, seeks an experienced RN First Assistant to support surgical teams across perioperative services. You will assist in operative and invasive procedures and ensure safe, patient-family centered care.

AORN-RN First Assistant training and required nursing licensure are essential, with additional CNOR/CRNFA credentials preferred. Join a busy perioperative unit with opportunities to advance and contribute to high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program is required.
• GA RN licensure or multistate license required.
• CNOR, CRNFA certifications required where applicable.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Function as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum.
• Occasionally serve as RN circulator in the OR.
