Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking an RN First Assistant to ensure safe, effective, and family-centered care in the OR and perioperative services. You will function as an RN first assistant during operative procedures and as an RN circulator when needed.

Required qualifications include graduation from a nursing program, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, and active Georgia RN licensure with CNOR/CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program; completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program.
• 2 years perioperative RN/RNFA experience; 3 years minimum as RN or Surgical Tech in CVOR.
• Georgia RN licensure; CNOR; CRNFA; BCLS; ACLS; PALS.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Functions as an RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and as RN circulator when applicable.
