Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified RN First Assistant to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care across all patient populations. This role functions as an RN First Assistant during operative procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum in accordance with credentials and competencies.

The incumbent will also function as an RN circulator as needed to ensure patient safety and coordinated care in the OR and related settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Required)
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (Required)
• Active Georgia RN license (Required)
• CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications encouraged/Required as applicable

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Act as RN First Assistant during operative and invasive procedures.
• Occasionally serve as RN circulator to maintain patient safety and care continuity.
