Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant to deliver safe and high-quality perioperative care. The role supports operative procedures and the perioperative continuum for all patient populations.

The position requires RN licensure in Georgia, CNOR/CRNFA, BCLS/ACLS/PALS, and previous perioperative RN/RNFA or CVOR experience. A sign-on bonus is available. This role is based on-site in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program - required.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (didactic and clinical) - required.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience - required.
• 3 years minimum experience as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR if CVOR work - required.
• GA RN licensure (NLC/eNCL multistate) - required.
• CNOR certification required.
• CRNFA certification required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe, effective perioperative care across patient populations.
• Functions as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures.
• May serve as RN circulator as part of the perioperative team.

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License Required and
• CNOR - Certified Operating Room RN if applicable Required
• CRNFA - Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
• ACLS Required and
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
