Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks an experienced RN First Assistant to join its perioperative team. You will function as an RNFA during operative and invasive procedures, ensuring patient-family centered care across the perioperative continuum.

The role requires completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, a nursing degree, and current Georgia RN licensure with CNOR/CRNFA certifications where applicable. A sign-on bonus is available and teamwork is essential.

At times is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR in the role of an RN circulator.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate from a nursing program Required and
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, which includes didactic and clinical components Required

Work Experience

• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience Required
• 3 years minimum experience of as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR, if working in the CVOR Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License Required and
• CNOR - Certified Operating Room RN if applicable Required
• CRNFA - Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
• ACLS Required and
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
