Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in the Northwest Region Ambulatory Surgery Centers seeks an RN First Assistant to support the surgical team during intra-operative care. You will collaborate with the surgeon and health care team in planning, directing, providing and evaluating advanced nursing care during procedures.

Responsibilities include pre-op assessment coordination, assisting in exposure, hemostasis, suturing, patient positioning, and post-operative care, while adhering to AORN standards and Kaiser

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of intra-operative scrubbing and circulating experience.
• One (1) year of recent RNFA experience or completion of a CCI RNFA course with ASC agreement.

Responsibilities

• Care during intra-operative phase in collaboration with the surgeon and team.
• Assist with exposure, hemostasis, suturing, and instrument handling.
• Coordinate pre-operative planning and post-operative care per protocols.
