Job summary

Integration International Inc. in Lexington, MA is seeking an Associate Research Scientist – RNAi Formulations to join a multidisciplinary team focused on non-viral delivery and formulation development for RNAi therapeutics.

This is a hands-on laboratory role emphasizing formulation preparation, biophysical characterization, analytical testing, and stability studies; collaboration spans non-viral delivery, oligonucleotide chemistry, bioanalysis, PK, and CMC teams.

Qualifications

• MS with ~3 years of relevant experience or PhD with 1–3 years in pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
• Hands-on experience with oligonucleotide or antibody/protein formulation and characterization.
• Experience with solubility, viscosity, osmolality, stability, degradation, or other developability parameters.
• Strong hands-on laboratory skills with the ability to troubleshoot formulation and characterization challenges.
• Strong experimental planning, documentation, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and characterize RNAi and oligonucleotide formulations across projects.
• Perform formulation preparation, biophysical characterization, analytical testing, and data analysis.
• Develop and execute screening assays to evaluate formulation performance.
• Assess solubility, viscosity, osmolality, stability, degradation, and aggregation.
• Support formulation optimization using high-throughput screening and DoE approaches.
• Conduct long-term storage and stability studies for RNAi conjugates and oligonucleotide formulations.
• Troubleshoot formulation and characterization challenges, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
• Maintain accurate experimental documentation and communicate results through summaries and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in non-viral delivery, formulation, oligonucleotide chemistry, bioanalysis, PK, CMC.
• Support project deliverables and timelines in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary research environment.
