Job summary

Ideal candidates are RNs or LPNs with CPR certification and wound-care knowledge. The role emphasizes prevention, documentation, and collaboration with physicians to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State License as an RN or LPN.
• CPR certified.
• Wound certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and skin treatment per physician orders.
• Supervise staff and ensure adherence to nursing policies and procedures.
• Complete head-to-toe assessments for new admissions and readmissions.
• Update care plans and skin sheets on a weekly schedule.
• Prepare and maintain wound reports and communicate with physicians and management.
• Administer medications within scope of practice and document thoroughly.
