Job summary

Worthington Healthcare Center in Parkersburg, WV seeks an experienced RN Wound/Treatment Nurse to join our compassionate long‑term care team. You will perform wound care, dressing changes, and related treatments while ensuring resident privacy and infection control.

Required is an active RN or LPN license in West Virginia, CPR certification, and prior healthcare experience. ACLS is preferred and supervisory experience in a long-term care setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in West Virginia.
• Wound certification preferred.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in healthcare settings and treatment nursing.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care, dressings, and related treatments per policy.
• Perform monthly gastric tube and Foley catheter changes as assigned.
• Provide trach care and suction as needed.
• Document treatments and updates in nurse notes and care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians and pharmacy for supplies.
