Job summary

Rainelle Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare family, is seeking an RN Wound/Treatment Nurse for a full-time position in Rainelle, WV. You will perform wound care, dressing changes, and related treatments while following infection control policies and physician orders.

Requirements include an active WV RN license and CPR certification; ACLS and wound certification are preferred. Prior long-term care experience and supervisory experience are a plus, with a strong team spirit and residents'

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in WV.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 3–5 years in a healthcare setting.
• Prior wound/treatment nursing experience desirable.
• Prior supervisory experience in a long-term care center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all treatments, dressing changes, ointments, sprays, lotions, etc., per center policy and physician orders.
• Perform monthly gastric tube and Foley catheter changes as assigned.
• Perform trach care and suctioning.
• Document weekly treatment recommendations in nurse notes and related reports.
• Suggest treatment procedures or products to attending physicians.
• Re-order treatment supplies from pharmacy or central supply as needed.
