Job summary

Lewisburg Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking an LPN Wound/Treatment Nurse for full-time hours to care for residents with wound care needs under physician orders.

Qualifications include active LPN licensure in the state, CPR certification, wound certification preferred, and prior treatment nursing care experience; supervisory experience in a long-term care setting is desirable. Competitive wages and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in treatment nursing care; prior supervisory experience in long-term care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform all treatments, dressing changes, ointments, sprays, lotions, etc. on residents following policy and physician orders.
• Perform routine monthly replacements of gastric tubes and Foley catheters as assigned.
• Perform trach care and suctioning as needed.
• Recommend treatments or products in nurse notes and other required documents; reorder supplies as needed.
