Job summary

Central Nursing for Rehab is hiring an RN Wound Care Nurse to lead the wound care program and train staff on protocols. You will collaborate with the DON and nursing team to provide comprehensive wound care and infection control across residents.

This role requires an approved nursing degree, PA RN license, and Wound Care Certification. Salary ranges from $95k to $110k per year, with benefits including vacation, PTO, 401K, health, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing is required.
• RN License in the State of Pennsylvania is required.
• Wound Care Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes policy and procedure in effective Wound Care management for all facility staff.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive Wound Care program including care protocol and documentation.
• Weekly wound care rounds.
• Maintains standards of care for Wound Care and Infection Control.
• Directs staff in wound assessment and proper documentation.
• Provides wound care training to new staff and ongoing in-services.
• Reports data to DON weekly for tracking and reporting.
• Conducts infection control surveillance and CDC-aligned investigations.
• Advises on Infection Control practices for patients, families and staff.
• Performs related duties as needed.
